Abstract
A print control device includes an image acquisition section that acquires image data to be printed from a terminal device, an image division section that, when a size of an image indicated by the image data is larger than a size of a print area in one page of a print medium, divides the image into a plurality of divided images based on the size of the print area, and a print instruction transmitting section that generates print data for disposing the plurality of divided images in a plurality of the print areas, respectively, for printing and transmits an instruction to print the print data to a printing device.
Claims10
A print control device comprising:
- an image acquisition section that acquires image data to be printed from a terminal device;
- an image division section that, when a size of an image indicated by the image data is larger than a size of a print area in one page of a print medium, divides the image into a plurality of divided images based on the size of the print area;
- and
- a print instruction transmitting section that generates print data for disposing the plurality of divided images in a plurality of the print areas, respectively, for printing and transmits an instruction to print the print data to a printing device.
A print control method executed in a print control device, the print control method comprising:
- causing an image acquisition section to acquire image data to be printed from a terminal device;
- causing, when a size of an image indicated by the image data is larger than a size of a print area in one page of a print medium, an image division section to divide the image into a plurality of divided images based on the size of the print area;
- and
- causing a print instruction transmitting section to generate print data for disposing the plurality of divided images in a plurality of the print areas, respectively, for printing and to transmit an instruction to print the print data to a printing device.
A printing system comprising:
- a print control device;
- and
- a printing device, wherein
- the print control device includes
- an image acquisition section that acquires image data to be printed from a terminal device,
- an image division section that, when a size of an image indicated by the image data is larger than a size of a print area in one page of a print medium, divides the image into a plurality of divided images based on the size of the print area, and
- a print instruction transmitting section that generates print data for disposing the plurality of divided images in a plurality of the print areas, respectively, for printing and transmits an instruction to print the print data to the printing device, and
- the printing device performs printing based on the print data.
