A suspended broadcast camera system, comprising:
- a suspension system, including plural anchored suspension lines and a motorized system configured to move the camera along the suspension lines in plural planes across a broadcast venue;
- a broadcast camera mounted to the motorized system;
- and
- a Lidar system mounted to the camera configured to provide the location of the camera and Lidar combination in a three dimensional (3D) space.
