Abstract
A gasket, which is capable of sealing a loop-shaped target sealed regions between a pair of members combined with each other, includes a base having a shape along a circumferential direction of the target sealed regions, a joint, a bending rigidity of which in a width direction is lower than that of the base, which is connected to the base, and a guide for positioning the gasket in the target sealed regions, wherein the guide includes a hole along a joining direction of the pair of members, and wherein a positioning pin fixed to the pair of members is inserted in the hole.
Claims11
A gasket capable of sealing a loop-shaped target sealed region between a pair of members combined with each other, the gasket comprising:
- a base having a shape along a circumferential direction of the target sealed region;
- a joint connected to the base, a bending rigidity of the joint in a width direction being lower than that of the base;
- and
- a guide for positioning of the gasket in the target sealed region,
- wherein the guide includes a hole along a joining direction of the pair of members, and
- wherein a positioning pin fixed to the pair of members is inserted in the hole.
A sealing structure comprising:
- a pair of members combined with each other;
- and
- a gasket sealing a loop-shaped target sealed region between the pair of members,
- wherein the gasket includes:
- a base having a shape along a circumferential direction of the target sealed region;
- a joint connected to the base, a bending rigidity of the joint in an in-plane direction of the target sealed region being lower than that of the base;
- and
- a guide for positioning of the gasket in the target sealed region,
- wherein the guide includes a hole along a joining direction of the pair of members, and
- wherein a positioning pin fixed to the pair of members is inserted in the hole.
