A drum brake, comprising:

• a brake drum, the brake drum including:
• a carrier pot defining a central axis, the carrier pot including a pot base aligned transversely to the central axis, a pot wall surrounding the central axis, is the pot wall arranged integrally on an edge of the pot bottom, and a pot volume delimited by the pot base and the pot wall,
• at least one ventilation opening that opens into the pot volume arranged on the carrier pot,
• the at least one ventilation opening and the pot volume delimit an air path for an air flow of air, through which the air flow is flowable for cooling the brake drum, and
• brake shoes for interacting, in a friction-locking manner, with an inner wall surface of the pot wall of the brake drum.

A vehicle having

• at least one drum brake, the at least one drum brake including:
• a brake drum comprising:
• a carrier pot defining a central axis, the carrier pot including a pot base aligned transversely to the central axis, a pot wall surrounding the central axis, is the pot wall arranged integrally on an edge of the pot bottom, and a pot volume delimited by the pot base and the pot wall,
• at least one ventilation opening that opens into the pot volume arranged on the carrier pot,
• the at least one ventilation opening and the pot volume delimit an air path for an air flow of air, through which the air flow is flowable for cooling the brake drum,
• brake shoes for interacting, in a friction-locking manner, with an inner wall surface of the pot wall of the brake drum;
• a suction fan for providing the air flow,
• a connecting device via which the drum brake is connected to the suction fan.
