Abstract
A device includes a rotation drive mechanism (2) that rotates a metal ring-shaped member (5) in a circumferential direction around a reference axis, a grinding mechanism (40) having a grinding stone (3) pressed against an outer circumferential surface of the ring-shaped member (5), and a support mechanism (4) that supports the ring-shaped member (5). The support mechanism (4) has a support portion (42) that is brought into contact with an inner circumferential surface of the ring-shaped member (5) in at least one circumferential range around the reference axis.
Claims17
A processing device for a ring-shaped member comprising:
- a rotation drive mechanism configured to rotate a metal ring-shaped member in a circumferential direction around a reference axis;
- a grinding mechanism including a grinding stone pressed against an outer circumferential surface of the ring-shaped member;
- and
- a support mechanism that includes a support portion brought into contact with an inner circumferential surface of the ring-shaped member in at least one circumferential range around the reference axis to support the ring-shaped member.
A processing method for a ring-shaped member comprising:
- a step of rotating a metal ring-shaped member in a circumferential direction around a reference axis;
- a step of pressing a grinding stone against an outer circumferential surface of the ring-shaped member, the step including a step of bringing a support portion into contact with an inner circumferential surface of the ring-shaped member in at least one circumferential range around the reference axis to support the ring-shaped member.
