Abstract
A composition including a hydrophobic compound (A) formed from a hydrophobic compound (A1) and a hydrophobic compound (A2) different from the hydrophobic compound (A1), where the Shore A hardness [PEAK] of the hydrophobic compound (A) is 10-100 smaller than the Shore A hardness [PEAK] of the hydrophobic compound (A1), and the composition can impart liquid repellency to a base material.
Claims16
A repellent comprising a hydrophobic mixture (A) consisting of a hydrophobic compound (A1) and a hydrophobic compound (A2) which is different from the hydrophobic compound (A1),
- wherein the hydrophobic compound (A1) is a non-hydrocarbon compound,
- wherein a Shore A hardness [PEAK] of the hydrophobic mixture (A) is 10 or more and 100 or less smaller than a Shore A hardness [PEAK] of the hydrophobic compound (A1),
- wherein the hydrophobic compound (A1) and the hydrophobic compound (A2) are each independently a compound having a hydrocarbon group having 6 or more and 40 or less carbon atoms.
A kit of repellent for papermaking, comprising a first agent and a second agent, wherein
- the first agent comprises a hydrophobic compound (A1), and
- the second agent comprises a hydrophobic compound (A2) which is different from the hydrophobic compound (A1),
- wherein a Shore A hardness [PEAK] of a hydrophobic mixture (A) consisting of a hydrophobic compound (A1) and a hydrophobic compound (A2) is 10 or more and 100 or less smaller than a Shore A hardness [PEAK] of the hydrophobic compound (A1), and
- wherein the hydrophobic compound (A1) and the hydrophobic compound (A2) are each independently a compound having a hydrocarbon group having 6 or more and 40 or less carbon atoms,
- wherein the kit is used by separately adding and mixing the first agent and the second agent to a pulp substrate.
