Biomass gasification gas treatment apparatus

Abstract

Until now, tar components that are by-products of biomass gasification have not been effectively utilized as highly adhesive mediators. The present disclosure provides an apparatus for treating biomass gas obtained by gasifying biomass. The apparatus comprises: a cooling/cleaning unit for cooling and cleaning the biomass gas with a cleaning liquid; a recovery unit for recovering the cleaning liquid; and a separation unit for extracting tar in the recovered cleaning liquid by using specific gravity separation. The cooling/cleaning unit includes an inlet chamber for initially receiving the biomass gas and an outlet chamber for receiving the biomass gas that has passed through the inlet chamber.
