Abstract
The present invention relates to a color protective film for vehicles capable of dry application and a method for applying the same to vehicles, wherein the color protective film for vehicles of the present invention can also be applied in a dry state due to significantly improved application property, such as the application of an air track pattern that has an appropriately low tensile strength and facilitates the discharge of air bubbles.
Claims10
A color protective film for vehicles, comprising:
- an adhesive layer having an air track pattern formed;
- a color layer disposed on the adhesive layer and comprising a thermoplastic polyurethane, an isocyanate curing agent, and a colored pigment;
- a substrate layer disposed on the color layer and comprising a thermoplastic polyurethane;
- and
- a self-healing layer disposed on the substrate layer.

A method for manufacturing a color protective film for vehicles, the method comprising:
- (a) preparing a semi-finished product of a color protective film for vehicles by laminating a color layer to a substrate layer using a hot melt method;
- (b) coating a self-healing layer on the substrate layer of the semi-finished product and an adhesive layer under the color layer to form the self-healing layer and the adhesive layer;
- and
- (c) laminating a release film under the adhesive layer,
- wherein an air track pattern is formed on the adhesive layer.
