Abstract
Provided are a modifier represented by Formula 1, which is useful for modifying a conjugated diene-based polymer, has excellent affinity with a filler and improves the compounding properties of the conjugated diene-based polymer, a modified conjugated diene-based polymer comprising a functional group derived from the modifier and a method for preparing the modified conjugated diene-based polymer, wherein all the variables are described herein.

A modifier represented by the following Formula 1:
- in Formula 1,
- A is an arylene group of 6 to 20 carbon atoms or a heteroarylene group of 5 to 20 carbon atoms,
- L1 and L2 are each independently an alkylene group of 1 to 20 carbon atoms,
- L3 and L4 are each independently an alkylene group of 1 to 20 carbon atoms, and
- R1 to R6 are each independently an alkyl group of 1 to 10 carbon atoms or an alkoxy group of 1 to 20 carbon atoms, where at least one among R1 to R3 is an alkoxy group of 1 to 20 carbon atoms, and at least one among R4 to R6 is an alkoxy group of 1 to 20 carbon atoms.
