Recreational vehicle storage and speaker systems

A recreational vehicle, the vehicle comprising:

• a frame;
• side by side seating supported by the frame and positioned in a passenger area of the vehicle;
• a motor supported by the frame and mounted out of the passenger area;
• a close-off panel supported by the frame and positioned between the passenger area and the motor,
• wherein the close-off panel comprises a rearwardly-extending enclosure portion defining a recess open forwardly toward the passenger area, wherein the enclosure portion is convertible between a storage mode and an audio mode,
• wherein in the storage mode, a storage cover is attachable to the mounting interface to provide access to the recess for storage;
• and
• wherein in the audio mode, a speaker baffle assembly is attachable to the mounting interface, wherein the speaker baffle assembly and the enclosure portion define a sealable speaker enclosure.

A recreational vehicle, the vehicle comprising:

• a passenger area including side-by-side seating;
• a motor mounted out of the passenger area;
• a roll cage comprising a pair of forward A-pillars, the roll cage extending at least partially over the passenger area;
• a dashboard assembly positioned forwardly of the passenger area and extending between the forward A-pillars,
• wherein the dashboard assembly comprises a pair of tweeter receiving receptacles positioned interior of the A-frame pillars, each of the pair of tweeter receiving receptacles configured for receiving a tweeter or a blank cover;
• and
• a frame supporting the side-by-side seating, the motor, the roll cage, and the dashboard.

A recreational vehicle with an audio system, the audio system comprising a plurality of speaker units, the recreational vehicle comprising:

• a frame;
• side by side seating supported by the frame;
• a motor supported by the frame;
• a plurality of molded polymer passenger region body portions mounted about the passenger area;
• the plurality of molded polymer passenger region body portions having a plurality of speaker receiving receptacles, each speaker receiving receptacle having an enclosure portion defining a cavity and having a mounting interface extending around an opening of the respective cavity, each of the plurality of speaker units form fit to and inserted into and attached to a respective one of the plurality of speaker receiving receptacles utilizing the respective mounting interface,
• wherein at least one of the plurality of speaker units comprises a sealed enclosure with a speaker attached to a speaker opening in the sealed enclosure and the speaker is a subwoofer.
