Abstract
A method and a system for operating a turn signal based on road information ahead are provided, and the method for operating a turn signal based on road information ahead according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: determining road information ahead based on navigation information; determining whether operation of a turn signal is required based on the road information ahead and a driving path of an ego vehicle according to the navigation information; and operating the turn signal of the ego vehicle based on whether the operation of the turn signal is required.
Claims20
A method for operating a turn signal based on road information ahead, comprising:
- determining road information ahead based on navigation information;
- determining whether operation of a turn signal is required based on the road information ahead and a driving path of an ego vehicle according to the navigation information;
- and
- operating the turn signal of the ego vehicle based on whether the operation of the turn signal is required.
A system for operating a turn signal based on road information ahead, comprising:
- a navigation device configured to provide road information ahead and a driving path of an ego vehicle;
- a controller configured to control operation of a turn signal of the ego vehicle based on information provided by the navigation device;
- and
- a turn signal apparatus configured to operate the turn signal of the ego vehicle,
- wherein the controller is configured to:
- determine whether operation of the turn signal is required based on the road information ahead and the driving path of the ego vehicle according to the navigation information;
- and
- control the turn signal apparatus to operate the turn signal based on whether the operation of the turn signal is required.
A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium that records a program for executing a method for operating a turn signal based on road information ahead on a computer, the method comprising:
- determining road information ahead based on navigation information;
- determining whether operation of a turn signal is required based on the road information ahead and a driving path of an ego vehicle according to the navigation information;
- and
- operating the turn signal of the ego vehicle based on whether the operation of the turn signal is required.
