Abstract
A vehicle input device comprises an operation detection section configured to detect input to an onboard unit allocated to one operation section of plural of operation sections provided in a vicinity of a driving seat due to the one operation section being operated, a preliminary action detection section configured to detect a preliminary action directly prior to the one operation section being operated, and a notification section configured to notify an occupant of information relating to the onboard unit allocated to the one operation section in a case in which the preliminary action has been detected by the preliminary action detection section.

A vehicle input device comprising:
- operation sections disposed at right and left sides with respect to a driving seat in a vehicle width direction;
- a memory;
- and
- a processor, the processor being configured to:
- in a case in which the processor detected touching by an occupant to the operation section at one side of the right and left sides with respect to the driver seat in the vehicle width direction, display an image simulating the input device including an image simulating an operation section touched by the occupant, at the one side of the right and left sides of a display section disposed at a vehicle front of a vehicle, and display an information related to an onboard unit allocated to the operation section touched by the occupant, at another side of the right and left sides of the display section.
A vehicle input processing method being performed by a processor, the vehicle input processing method comprising:
- in a case in which the processor detected touching by an occupant to the operation section at one side of the right and left sides with respect to the driver seat in the vehicle width direction, displaying an image simulating the input device including an image simulating an operation section touched by the occupant, at the one side of the right and left sides of a display section disposed at a vehicle front of a vehicle, and displaying an information related to an onboard unit allocated to the operation section touched by the occupant, at another side of the right and left sides of the display section.
A non-transitory storage medium storing a program executable by a processor to perform a vehicle input process, the process comprising:
- in a case in which the processor detected touching by an occupant to the operation section at one side of the right and left sides with respect to the driver seat in the vehicle width direction, displaying an image simulating the input device including an image simulating an operation section touched by the occupant, at the one side of the right and left sides of a display section disposed at a vehicle front of a vehicle, and displaying an information related to an onboard unit allocated to the operation section touched by the occupant, at another side of the right and left sides of the display section.
