Compression mechanism

1) Mechanical compression system comprising a first and a second presser (2, 3) which are mounted on a load-bearing frame (1) and have respective counter-faced compression surfaces (20, 30), wherein

• one of the two pressers is pushed towards the other presser by means of respective thrust means (5) which are configured to generate a thrust (L5) of a pre-established value,
• an adjustable stop device (60) connected to the load-bearing frame (1) is opposed to the thrust means (5) and is placed between the load-bearing frame (1) and the thrust means (5) to absorb a part (L6) of said thrust (L5) and unloading it onto the frame (1), so that a second part (L23) of said thrust (L5) is transmitted to the two pressers,
• the adjustable stop device (60) is connected to respective adjustment means (6) that adjust its position with respect to the thrust means (5),
• the thrust means (5) comprise at least one first actuator cylinder supplied with a fluid at a pre-established pressure (P), said at least one first actuator cylinder having a known and predefined bore (A5);

• the means (6) for adjusting the adjustable stop comprise at least one further actuator cylinder.
