Abstract

A current-related base data acquirer acquires first current-related base data and second current-related base data for a current of a motor that drives a robot. A base temperature acquirer acquires a first base temperature and a second base temperature, which are temperatures at the time of acquiring the above data. A current-related data acquirer acquires current-related data for the current of the motor. A temperature acquirer acquires a data acquisition temperature, which is a temperature at a time of acquiring the above data. A corrector performs a correction to the current-related data to correspond to a predetermined evaluation reference temperature, based on the first current-related base data, the second current-related base data, the first base temperature, the second base temperature, and the data acquisition temperature. A robot state evaluator evaluates the robot state using the current-related data after the correction.

Dependent claims

A state monitoring device for monitoring a state of an industrial robot capable of playing back a predetermined operation, comprising:

a current-related base data acquirer that acquires, with respect to a current of a motor driving the industrial robot, first current-related base data being current data including at least one element or being statistical data of the current data, and second current-related base data being current data including at least one element or being statistical data of the current data;
a base temperature acquirer that acquires a first base temperature being a temperature at a time of acquisition of the first current-related base data, and a second base temperature being a temperature at a time of acquisition of the second current-related base data;
a current-related data acquirer that acquires, with respect to the current of the motor, current-related data being current data including at least one element or being statistical data of the current data;
a temperature acquirer that acquires a data acquisition temperature being a temperature at a time of acquisition of the current-related data;
a corrector that performs a correction to the current-related data based on the first current-related base data, the second current-related base data, the first base temperature, the second base temperature, and the data acquisition temperature;
and
a robot state evaluator that evaluates the state of the robot using the current-related data after the correction.
