Abstract
A reactor which can reduce the amount of heat discarded to the outside of the system is provided. A reactor includes a reaction vessel in which a source gas flows from an inlet toward an outlet, and a catalyst disposed in the reaction vessel. The reactor obtains a product gas by a chemical reaction involving heat generation. The reactor includes a refrigerant channel which is provided on the outer side of the reaction vessel and through which the source gas flows, as a refrigerant, before flowing through the reaction vessel.

A reactor comprising:
- a reaction vessel in which a source gas flows from an inlet toward an outlet;
- and
- a catalyst disposed in the reaction vessel,
- the reactor obtaining a product gas by a chemical reaction involving heat generation,
- wherein the reactor comprises a refrigerant channel which is provided on an outer side of the reaction vessel and through which the source gas flows, as a refrigerant, before flowing through the reaction vessel.
