Virtual Resource Allocation Method and Apparatus, Device, Storage Medium, and Program Product

A computer device, comprising a processor and a memory, the memory having at least one program stored therein, wherein the at least one program is executed by the processor to cause the computer device to:

• display a resource redemption prop in a virtual scene, the resource redemption prop being configured for obtaining a prop-holding reward after redemption;
• control, in response to a prop obtaining operation, a player-controlled virtual object to obtain the resource redemption prop, and display position information of a resource redemption point,
• after the resource redemption prop is obtained, display prompt information from the perspective of an opponent virtual object, the prompt information being configured for prompting the opponent virtual object to contend for ownership of the resource redemption prop;
• control, in response to an object movement operation, the player-controlled virtual object carrying the resource redemption prop to move to the resource redemption point indicated by the position information;
• and
• display a resource redemption result in response to a resource redemption operation performed by the player-controlled virtual object at the resource redemption point, the resource redemption result indicating reward information obtained by the player-controlled virtual object by redeeming the resource redemption prop.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing instructions that, when executed by a processor, cause a computer device to:

• display a resource redemption prop in a virtual scene, the resource redemption prop being configured for obtaining a prop-holding reward after redemption;
• control, in response to a prop obtaining operation, a player-controlled virtual object to obtain the resource redemption prop, and display position information of a resource redemption point,
• after the resource redemption prop is obtained, display prompt information from the perspective of an opponent virtual object, the prompt information being configured for prompting the opponent virtual object to contend for ownership of the resource redemption prop;
• control, in response to an object movement operation, the player-controlled virtual object carrying the resource redemption prop to move to the resource redemption point indicated by the position information;
• and
• display a resource redemption result in response to a resource redemption operation performed by the player-controlled virtual object at the resource redemption point, the resource redemption result indicating reward information obtained by the player-controlled virtual object by redeeming the resource redemption prop.
