Multi-chamber container for eye drops, and manufacturing method therefor

Abstract

A multi-chamber container for storing and applying eye drops. A container body (1) of the multi-chamber container has at least two chambers: a first chamber (3) and a second chamber (4), which are completely separated by means of a separable seal portion, wherein the first chamber and the second chamber independently encapsulate different types of medicaments; and a weak weld (2) is provided between the first chamber and the second chamber, so as to avoid changes over time when these agents are mixed together. The seal portion in the multi-chamber container can be separated upon application of an external force to one of the chambers of the container, such that the separately encapsulated different medicaments are mixed together in a sterile state, and a mixed solution that can be applied directly to the eye can be formed. The first chamber is provided with an outflow port (5).
