Abstract
A method for controlling a dishwasher according to an embodiment may comprise the steps of: a control unit receiving a command for executing a plastic course, from among washing courses, for washing dishes made from material of plastic; the control unit receiving a command for a sub-process of the plastic course; and washing the dishes according to the plastic course and sub-process thereof received by the control unit.

A method for controlling a dishwasher, the method comprising:
- receiving, by a controller, a command to perform a plastic course for washing a dish made of a plastic material, wherein a washing course includes the plastic course;
- receiving, by the controller, a command for a sub-process of the plastic course;
- and
- washing the dish according to the plastic course and the sub-process of the plastic course received by the controller,
- wherein the washing course includes a general course and the plastic course,
- wherein each of a maximum temperature of washing water and a maximum spray pressure at which a spray arm sprays the washing water in the plastic course is set to be lower than each of a maximum temperature of the washing water and a maximum spray pressure at which the spray arm sprays the washing water in the general course.
