Abstract
An aerosol-generating article is provided, including: an aerosol-forming substrate portion including a primary aerosol-forming substrate; and a substrate wrapper surrounding at least a part of the aerosol-forming substrate portion and including a secondary aerosol-forming substrate, the secondary aerosol-forming substrate including nicotine, one or more cellulose based agents, one or more aerosol formers, and one or more carboxylic acids, and the secondary aerosol-forming substrate further including a total tobacco content on a dry weight basis of less than 1 percent by weight.

An aerosol-generating article, comprising:
- an aerosol-forming substrate portion comprising a primary aerosol-forming substrate;
- and
- a substrate wrapper surrounding at least a part of the aerosol-forming substrate portion and comprising a secondary aerosol-forming substrate,
- wherein the secondary aerosol-forming substrate comprises nicotine, one or more cellulose based agents, one or more aerosol formers, and one or more carboxylic acids, and
- wherein the secondary aerosol-forming substrate further comprises a total tobacco content on a dry weight basis of less than 1 percent by weight.
