Abstract
Provided is a twisted yarn-like material for a smoking article, the material comprising a base material for a smoking article, the base material being selected from the group consisting of a sheet provided with a slit, a strand, and a combination thereof. A bundle body of the base material is twisted so as to face a direction obliquely crossing the length direction thereof.

A twisted yarn-like material for smoking articles, including a smoking article substrate selected from the group consisting of a sheet provided with slits, strands, and combinations thereof, wherein
- a bundle of the substrate is twisted so as to face in a direction that obliquely intersects the longitudinal direction thereof.
A flavor source rod for smoking articles, comprising:
- a twisted yarn-like material including a smoking article substrate selected from a group consisting of a sheet provided with slits, strands, and combinations thereof, the substrate including a flavor source, and a bundle of the substrate being twisted to form ridge lines that obliquely intersect a longitudinal axis of the rod.
A twisted yarn-like material for heat-not-burn smoking articles, comprising:
- a plurality of strands derived from a tobacco-containing laminated sheet, the strands having a thickness of 50 to 2000 μm and a cut width of 0.5 to 10 mm, a bundle of the strands being twisted such that an angle between a longitudinal axis and ridge lines caused by the twisting is 15 to 30 degrees, and the strands including tobacco as a flavor source and an aerosol-generating agent.
