The present invention relates to a parasiticide composition for maintaining honeybee colonies and controlling mite infestation therein, and its use as a medicament or as a parasiticide. The present invention further relates to a method of maintaining honeybee colonies and controlling mite infestation. The present invention further relates to devices comprising a parasiticide composition according to the invention.
