Air stream selector

Abstract

An air stream selector comprising: a material inlet; a first material outlet chute and a second material outlet chute, the first and second material outlet chutes being in communication with first and second air flow channels, respectively; and an air stream selector drum positioned between the material inlet and the first and second material outlet chutes, the drum being rotatable about an axis and including a channel therethrough, the channel including an inlet end and an outlet end, the outlet end configured to be alignable with only a selected one of the first material outlet chute and the second material outlet chute, while the inlet end remains in communication with the material inlet. The air stream selector may include a processor configured to monitor and command a shaft to selectably align the outlet end and other parts of the air stream selector.
