Abstract
A flip-chip assembly of an integrated solid-state quantum circuit is disclosed. The assembly comprises a first chip including a first semiconductor substrate the first semiconductor substrate comprising a plurality of spin defects wherein the plurality of spin defects are coupled by spin-spin interactions, and wherein the plurality of spin defects host a plurality of qubits. The assembly includes a second chip including a second semiconductor substrate bonded to the first chip (10). The second chip includes a plurality of control structures and read-out structures and the first semiconductor substrate is a diamond substrate.
Claims13
A flip-chip assembly of an integrated solid-state quantum circuit comprising:
- a first chip comprising a first semiconductor substrate, the first semiconductor substrate comprising a plurality of spin defects, wherein the plurality of spin defects are coupled by spin-spin interactions, and wherein the plurality of spin defects host a plurality of qubits,
- a second chip comprising a second semiconductor substrate bonded to the first chip wherein the second chip comprises a plurality of control structures and read-out structures,
- wherein the first semiconductor substrate is a diamond substrate.
A method of assembling of an integrated solid-state quantum circuit comprising:
- providing a first chip comprising a first semiconductor substrate the first semiconductor substrate comprising a plurality of spin defects wherein the plurality of spin defects are coupled by spin-spin interactions, wherein the plurality of spin defects host a plurality of qubits, and wherein the first semiconductor substrate is a diamond substrate;
- fabricating a plurality of control structures and read-out structures onto a second semiconductor substrate;
- aligning the first chip to the second chip;
- and
- bonding of the first chip to the second chip, thereby forming a flip-chip assembly.
