This application provides a cell reserved for operator use transmission method and a communication apparatus. The method includes: A second access network device receives a first message sent by a first access network device, where the first message carries a state of a first cell reserved for operator use at a granularity of a public land mobile network PLMN, and the first cell is a cell of the first access network device.

A cell reserved for operator use transmission method, wherein the method comprises:
- receiving, by a second access network device, a first message sent by a first access network device, wherein the first message carries a state of a first cell reserved for operator use at a granularity of a public land mobile network PLMN, and the first cell is a cell of the first access network device.
A communication apparatus, comprising a processor and a memory, wherein the processor is coupled to the memory, and the processor is configured to implement a method comprising:
- receiving a first message sent by a first access network device, wherein the first message carries a state of a first cell reserved for operator use at a granularity of a public land mobile network PLMN, and the first cell is a cell of the first access network device.
A communication apparatus, comprising a processor and a memory, wherein the processor is coupled to the memory, and the processor is configured to implement a method comprising:
- sending a first message to a second access network device, wherein the first message carries a state of a first cell reserved for operator use at a granularity of a public land mobile network PLMN, and the first cell is a cell of the communication apparatus.
