Abstract
A communication method and apparatus, and relate to the communication field. Scheduling based on a QoS parameter can be implemented on a terminal device with low complexity. A quality of service QoS parameter for a first service from a core network element is received. At least one terminal apparatus is paged for executing the first service. Scheduling based on the QoS parameter in response to the at least one terminal apparatus for executing the first service being paged, the at least one terminal apparatus executes the first service.

An apparatus, comprising:
- one or more processors in communications with a non-transitory memory storing computer instructions, wherein the instructions, in response to being executed by the one or more processors, cause the apparatus to:
- receive a quality of service (QoS) parameter for a first service from a core network element;
- page at least one terminal apparatus for executing the first service;
- and
- schedule, based on the QoS parameter in response to the at least one terminal apparatus for executing the first service being paged, the at least one terminal apparatus to execute the first service.
An apparatus, comprising:
- one or more processors in communications with a non-transitory memory storing computer instructions, wherein the instructions, in response to being executed by the one or more processors, cause the apparatus to:
- receive identification information from an access network device, wherein the identification information is for identifying a quality of service (QoS) parameter;
- and
- send the identification information to the access network device in response to a first service being executed.
An apparatus, comprising:
- one or more processors in communications with a non-transitory memory storing computer instructions, wherein the instructions, in response to being executed by the one or more processors, cause the apparatus to:
- receive a quality of service (QoS) parameter from a core network element;
- and
- send identification information to a first terminal apparatus, wherein the identification information is for identifying the QoS parameter.
