Abstract
A terminal according to at least one of the embodiments disclosed in the present specification may: report, to a network, AI processing unit (APU) information about the number of artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) processes that can be processed simultaneously; receive, from the network, information indicating terminal operations related to at least one AI/ML model; and performing at least some of the terminal operations simultaneously.
Claims15
A method performed by a user equipment (UE), the method comprising:
- reporting, to a network, artificial intelligence (AI) processing unit (APU) information related to a number of artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) processes that can be simultaneously processed in the UE;
- receiving, from the network, information indicating UE operations related to at least one AI/ML model;
- and
- performing at least a part of the UE operations simultaneously,
- wherein based on that, in a specific time resource, the UE operations indicated by the network exceed the number of the AI/ML processes reported to the network through the APU information, the UE:
- determines one or more UE operations to be excluded from the indicated UE operations;
- and
- reports, to the network, information regarding the one or more UE operations determined to be excluded.
A device comprising:
- a memory configured to store instructions;
- and
- a processor configured to perform operations by executing the instructions,
- wherein the operations of the processor comprise:
- reporting to a network artificial intelligence (AI) processing unit (APU) information related to a number of artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) processes that the device is capable of handling simultaneously;
- receiving from the network information indicating device operations related to at least one AI/ML model;
- and
- performing at least a part of the device operations simultaneously,
- wherein based on that, in a specific time resource, the device operations indicated by the network exceed the number of the AI/ML processes reported to the network through the APU information, the processor:
- determines one or more device operations to be excluded from the indicated device operations;
- and
- reports, to the network, information regarding the one or more device operations determined to be excluded.
A method performed a base station (BS), the method comprising:
- receiving, from a user equipment (UE), artificial intelligence (AI) processing unit (APU) information related to a number of artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) processes that can be simultaneously processed in the UE;
- transmitting, to the UE, information indicating UE operations related to at least one AI/ML model;
- and
- receiving from the UE information regarding one or more UE operations to be excluded from the indicated UE operations based on that, in a specific time resource, the indicated UE operations exceed the number of the AI/ML processes obtained through the APU information.
