Channel state information transmission method and apparatus, terminal, and network side device

A channel state information transmission method, comprising:

• sending, by a network side device, a channel state information (CSI) report configuration;
• and
• receiving, by the network side device, a CSI report, wherein
• resources associated with the CSI report configuration are configured as N resource groups, the CSI report configuration is associated with at least one sub-configuration, and the CSI report comprises CSI of the at least one sub-configuration;
• or the network side device prohibits configuring the CSI report configuration to be associated with at least one sub-configuration when resources associated with the CSI report configuration are configured as N resource groups;
• or the network side device prohibits configuring resources associated with the CSI report configuration as N resource groups when the CSI report configuration is associated with at least one sub-configuration;
• and N is an integer greater than or equal to 2.

A terminal, comprising a processor and a memory, wherein the memory stores a program or an instruction that can be run on the processor, wherein the program or the instruction, when executed by the processor, causes the terminal to perform:

• receiving a channel state information (CSI) report configuration;
• and
• reporting a CSI report based on the CSI report configuration, wherein
• resources associated with the CSI report configuration are configured as N resource groups, the CSI report configuration is associated with at least one sub-configuration, and the CSI report comprises CSI of the at least one sub-configuration;
• or the terminal does not expect that the CSI report configuration is associated with at least one sub-configuration when resources associated with the CSI report configuration are configured as N resource groups;
• or the terminal does not expect that resources associated with the CSI report configuration are configured as N resource groups when the CSI report configuration is associated with at least one sub-configuration;
• and N is an integer greater than or equal to 2.
