Temperature Regulating Mount with Magnetic Power Mount

A mount assembly for a portable electronic device, the mount assembly comprising:

• a device-side mount including a first coupling arrangement and a plurality of first electrical contacts comprising one or more first power contacts and a plurality of first data contacts;
• and
• a receiving mount including a second coupling arrangement and a plurality of second electrical contacts comprising one or more second power contacts and a plurality of second data contacts, wherein the first coupling arrangement and the second coupling arrangement are configured to detachably couple the device-side mount and the receiving mount to one another in a docked position, and wherein, in the docked position, the plurality of first electrical contacts electrically mates with the plurality of second electrical contacts such that power is transferred between the device-side mount and the receiving mount through the first and second power contacts and data is transmitted between the device-side mount and the receiving mount through the first and second data contacts.
