Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a battery and a vehicle. The vehicle includes a support plate and the battery. The support plate is provided with a raised portion that defines an accommodating space. The battery is disposed on a side of the support plate where the accommodating space is formed and includes an accommodating box and a battery assembly received therein, wherein a portion of the battery assembly extends into the accommodating space. By providing the raised portion on the support plate and allowing part of the battery assembly to extend into the accommodating space, vacant interior space of the vehicle is effectively utilized, thereby improving space utilization and making the vehicle structure more compact. This configuration further facilitates increasing battery capacity or reducing the overall vehicle size for a given battery capacity.
