Abstract
A battery management apparatus includes a profile processing unit configured to obtain a charging and discharging profile of a cell group in which a plurality of cells are electrically connected; a characteristic point selecting unit configured to select at least one characteristic point corresponding to an inflection point in the charging and discharging profile; and a diagnosing unit configured to diagnose a deterioration imbalance of the cell group using characteristic information including information on the number of characteristic points selected by the characteristic point selecting unit.
Claims12
A battery management apparatus, comprising:
- a profile processing unit configured to obtain a charging and discharging profile of a cell group in which a plurality of cells are electrically connected;
- a characteristic point selecting unit configured to select at least one characteristic point corresponding to an inflection point in the charging and discharging profile;
- and
- a diagnosing unit configured to diagnose a deterioration imbalance of the cell group using characteristic information including information on a number of characteristic points selected by the characteristic point selecting unit.
The battery management apparatus according to claim 53,
- wherein the point selecting unit is configured to select a peak, in which a state of charge (SOC) of the cell group is located in a range of 40% or more and 70% or less, among the plurality of peaks as the at least one characteristic point.
A battery management method, comprising:
- obtaining a charging and discharging profile of a cell group in which a plurality of cells are electrically connected;
- selecting at least one characteristic point corresponding to an inflection point in the charging and discharging profile;
- and
- a diagnosing step of diagnosing a deterioration imbalance of the cell group using characteristic information of the at least one characteristic point.
