Abstract
Batteries using a positive electrode mixture comprising a sulfur-based positive electrode active material have room for improvement in terms of cycle characteristics. The battery of the present disclosure comprises a positive electrode mixture layer, an electrolyte layer, and a negative electrode. The positive electrode mixture layer comprises a sulfur-based active material and carbon nanotube. A D/G band ratio determined from a Raman spectrum of the positive electrode mixture layer is 0.31 or greater.
Claims6
A battery, comprising a positive electrode mixture layer, an electrolyte layer, and a negative electrode, wherein
- the positive electrode mixture layer comprises a sulfur-based active material and carbon nanotube, and
- a D/G band ratio determined from a Raman spectrum of the positive electrode mixture layer is 0.31 or greater.
A method for manufacturing a positive electrode mixture, the method comprising
- obtaining a mixture comprising a sulfur-based active material and carbon nanotube, and
- applying mechanical energy to the mixture, wherein
- a D/G band ratio determined from a Raman spectrum of the mixture before the mechanical energy is applied is less than 0.31, and
- a D/G band ratio determined from a Raman spectrum of the mixture after the mechanical energy has been applied is 0.31 or greater.
