Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a negative electrode for a rechargeable lithium battery, a rechargeable lithium battery including the negative electrode, and a method for manufacturing a negative electrode for a rechargeable lithium battery. The negative electrode includes a negative electrode current collector, a negative electrode active material layer on the negative electrode current collector, and photoresist particles on a surface of the negative electrode active material layer. The negative electrode active material layer includes a negative pattern formed on an upper portion of the negative electrode active material layer.
Claims20
A method for manufacturing a negative electrode for a rechargeable lithium battery, the method comprising:
- forming a negative electrode active material layer on a negative electrode current collector;
- forming a photoresist layer on the negative electrode active material layer;
- performing a negative patterning process on the photoresist layer to form a negative pattern on the negative electrode active material layer;
- and
- selectively removing the photoresist layer.
A negative electrode for a rechargeable lithium battery, the negative electrode comprising:
- a negative electrode current collector;
- a negative electrode active material layer on the negative electrode current collector;
- and
- photoresist particles on a surface of the negative electrode active material layer,
- wherein the negative electrode active material layer comprises a negative pattern formed on an upper portion of the negative electrode active material layer.
