An electric wire comprising:
- a core wire;
- and a coating film that coats the core wire, wherein
- the core wire includes iron as a main component,
- the coating film includes a first layer,
- the first layer includes copper as a main component, and
- the first layer includes 10.5 ppm or more and 20.5 ppm or less of carbon on a mass basis.
