The disclosure provides a system and method for longitudinal multiomics assessments of capillary blood microsamples collected from the upper-arm using a push-button blood collection device, whereby collected samples are subjected to simultaneous, parallel, sequential and longitudinal analysis of genomics (via whole genome sequencing, whole exome sequencing, and aggregated longitudinal sequencing), transcriptomics (via bulk RNA sequencing), and proteomics (via oligonucleotide-incorporated or oligonucleotide-coupled labeling and detection proteomics platforms) to provide a holistic view of biological systems and biomarkers and their interactions over space (spatial) and time (temporal). The disclosure also provides a practical workflow and computational framework for integration and processing of longitudinal capillary multiomics (LCM) data in the contexts of clinical trials, primary healthcare, and population-level studies.
