Abstract
A driving circuit unit includes: a first driver configured to be driven during a display scan period included in an active period of one frame; a second driver configured to be driven during at least one self-scan period included in a blank period of the one frame; a first switch connected between a driving power line to which driving power is supplied and the first driver, configured to be turned on in the active period, and configured to be turned off in the blank period; and a first storage unit configured to receive and store driving data from the first driver before the first switch is turned off.
Claims20
A driving circuit unit comprising:
- a first driver to be driven in an active period of a frame;
- a second driver to be driven in the active period of the frame and a blank period of the frame, the frame comprising the active period and the blank period;
- and
- a driving power line to transfer a driving power,
- wherein the first driver is configured to be electrically connected to the driving power line in the active period and to be electrically disconnected from the driving power line in the blank period, and
- wherein the second driver is configured to be electrically connected to the driving power line in the active period and the blank period.
A display device comprising:
- pixels connected to display scan lines, self-scan lines, and emission control lines;
- a display scan driving circuit to control the display scan lines;
- a self-scan driving circuit to control the self-scan lines;
- an emission driving circuit to control the emission control lines;
- and
- a driving circuit unit to control the display scan driving circuit, the self-scan driving circuit, and the emission driving circuit,
- wherein the driving circuit unit comprises:
- a first driver to drive the display scan driving circuit in an active period of a frame;
- a second driver to drive the self-scan driving circuit and the emission driving circuit in the active period of the frame and a blank period of the frame, the frame comprising the active period and the blank period;
- and
- a driving power line to transfer a driving power,
- wherein the first driver is configured to be electrically connected to the driving power line in the active period and to be electrically disconnected from the driving power line in the blank period, and
- wherein the second driver is configured to be electrically connected to the driving power line in the active period and the blank period.
