Systems, platforms, and methods of injection training

An injection training platform, comprising:

• a computing system having at least one processor and a memory device, the computing system configured to receive and process inputs relating to locations of an injection tool relative to a training anatomical model so as to output at least a virtual training anatomical model;
• the computing system configured to apply one or more visual filters to the virtual training anatomical model so that the computing system further outputs to an augmented reality viewing system at least one of training technique instructions or an underlying anatomy overlaying the virtual anatomical model, wherein the one or more filters comprises ethnic-based anatomical variations, and
• a display unit in electrical communication with the computing system, wherein the display unit displays a depiction of the training injection technique.
