Automated valet parking system and automated valet parking method

A system for automated valet parking of a vehicle within a predetermined zone, comprising:

• one or more memory devices configured to store in-vehicle camera images taken by a camera mounted on the vehicle;
• one or more processing circuitry configured to be able to communicate with the one or more memory devices;
• and
• a user terminal of the vehicle configured to be able to communicate with the one or more memory devices, and also configured to output information on automated valet parking of the vehicle received from the one or more processing circuitry,
• wherein the one or more processing circuitry is configured to:
• generate highlight scene information on automated valet parking mission based on the in-vehicle camera images acquired during an automated valet parking mission of the vehicle and before vehicle power is stopped at a completion location of the automated valet parking mission;
• and
• transmit information on the automated valet parking mission, including at least the highlight scene information, to the user terminal.
