Abstract
A system, method, and device for displaying video content captured by camera systems on a monitor via a gateway. In examples, the gateway is connected to individual camera systems via respective networks and is connected to the monitor via an input of the monitor. The gateway receives video data from the camera system(s) via the network(s). The gateway transmits video signal(s) that correspond to the video data to the monitor. Video content corresponding to the video data is presented on the monitor. In some examples, the gateway can receive user input via a graphical user interface it causes to be presented on the monitor or may receive user input via its own graphical user interface.

(canceled)
A method comprising:
- receiving, by a gateway and from a first camera system via a first network, first video data;
- receiving, by the gateway and from a second camera system via the first network or a second network, second video data;
- transmitting, by the gateway and to an input of a monitor, a first video signal corresponding to the first video data and a second video signal corresponding to the second video data;
- and
- causing presentation, by the gateway via the monitor, of first video content corresponding to the first video data and second video content corresponding to the second video data while the first video content is being presented.
A system comprising:
- a first camera system;
- a second camera system;
- a monitor;
- and
- a gateway comprising:
- a housing;
- one or more ports, including at least a data transmission port and a power inlet;
- one or more processors;
- and
- one or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the gateway to perform operations comprising:
- receiving, from the first camera system via a first network, first video data;
- receiving, from the second camera system via the first network or a second network, second video data;
- transmitting, to an input of the monitor, a first video signal corresponding to the first video data and a second video signal corresponding to the second video data;
- and
- causing presentation, via the monitor, of first video content corresponding to the first video data and second video content corresponding to the second video data while the first video content is being presented.
A gateway comprising:
- a housing;
- one or more ports, comprising at least a data transmission port and a power inlet;
- one or more processors;
- and
- one or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the gateway to perform operations comprising:
- receiving, from a first camera system via a first network, first video data;
- receiving, from a second camera system via the first network or a second network, second video data;
- transmitting, to an input of a monitor, a first video signal corresponding to the first video data and a second video signal corresponding to the second video data;
- and
- causing presentation, via the monitor, of first video content corresponding to the first video data and second video content corresponding to the second video data while the first video content is being presented.
