Mobile badge for access authorization at multi-session events

A computer implemented method for managing access to a session of a multi-session event by a server, the method comprising:

• receiving, at a processor, a maximum capacity value indicating a maximum number of attendees in a corresponding session of the multi-session event;
• receiving, at the processor, from at least one of a mobile device and an access terminal:
• at least one identification information uniquely identifying a user;
• and
• an associated indication of the user access to the session;
• the processor providing the access terminal with an order to revoke access to further users to the session if a cumulative number of unique identification information received exceeds the maximum capacity value.

A computer implemented method for providing analytics or recommendations for a multi-session event by a server, the method comprising:

• receiving, at a processor, records of user attendance of the multi-session event;
• receiving, at the processor, an identification information of a user associated with a user profile from a mobile device;
• determining, at the processor, based on the user profile comprising a history of sessions accessed by the user in the multi-session event, at least one of:
• (a) an estimated interest of the user in future sessions;
• and
• (b) a predicted flow of attendees through the multi-session event;
• the processor providing the mobile device with a recommendation of at least one of the future sessions to attend.

A method performed by a mobile device for completing activities within a contest or scavenger-hunt event associated with a session of a multi-session event, the method comprising:

• transmitting, with the mobile device, identification information uniquely identifying a user of the mobile device;
• transmitting, with the mobile device, indications of completion of an activity;
• and
• receiving at the mobile device a dynamic electronic ticket based on the indication of completion of the activity and the session;
• wherein the electronic ticket is indicative of a user reward or a change of access to further sessions in the multi-session event.
