Abstract
A method for managing transactions of a metaverse content item having a data format comprising a plurality of blocks includes defining, in a reserve block of the data format, transaction information for the metaverse content item, wherein the transaction information includes data for a blockchain-based non-fungible token (NFT) representing an ownership or a use right of the metaverse content item; and processing, via a smart contract associated with the NFT, a transaction to securely transfer the ownership or the use right of the metaverse content item.

A method for managing transactions of a metaverse content item having a data format comprising a plurality of blocks, the method comprising:
- defining, in a reserve block of the data format, transaction information for the metaverse content item, wherein the transaction information includes data for a blockchain-based non-fungible token (NFT) representing an ownership or a use right of the metaverse content item;
- and
- processing, via a smart contract associated with the NFT, a transaction to securely transfer the ownership or the use right of the metaverse content item.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing a data format for a metaverse content item, the data format comprising:
- a plurality of blocks defining attributes of the metaverse content item;
- wherein the plurality of blocks includes a reserve block;
- and
- wherein the reserve block is configured to store:
- data defining a blockchain-based non-fungible token (NFT) uniquely associated with the metaverse content item;
- and
- information for executing a smart contract for transacting the metaverse content item.
