A technology is described for facilitating destination specific transactions onboard an aircraft using a graphical user interface of an electronic device. In one example of the technology, a destination of a current flight can be determined from flight context information obtained from an aircraft data bus. The destination can be used to identify video content related to the destination, and the video content can be provided for display in a graphical user interface of an inflight entertainment system, wherein the video content can be displayed with an embedded purchase element that provides details for an offer available at the destination. A passenger can select the embedded purchase element displayed in the graphical user interface to initiate an onboard transaction to purchase the product or service associated with the offer available at the destination.
A system for facilitating destination specific transactions onboard an aircraft using a graphical user interface of an electronic device, comprising:
A computer implemented method for facilitating destination specific transactions onboard an aircraft using a graphical user interface of an electronic device, comprising:
A non-transitory machine readable storage medium including instructions embodied thereon for facilitating destination specific transactions onboard an aircraft using a graphical user interface of an electronic device, wherein the instructions, when executed by at least one processor:
