Communication method and apparatus

A communication method, wherein the method comprises:

• obtaining, by a model training logical function (MTLF) functional entity, a first notification message, wherein in response to the first notification message is used to provide an updated model, the first notification message carries a model identifier, and the model identifier indicates a first model;
• the first model is a model obtained by updating a second model, a model identifier of the first model is the same as a model identifier of the second model, and the first model is a model re-trained based on the second model, or the first model is a newly generated model;
• the first notification message further carries first indication information, the first indication information indicates that a model corresponding to the model identifier is updated, the first notification message further carries accuracy information of the first model, and the accuracy information of the first model indicates accuracy of the first model;
• and
• in response to the first notification message is used to provide accuracy information of the model, the first notification message carries the model identifier of the first model, the first notification message further carries the accuracy information of the first model, the accuracy information of the first model indicates the accuracy of the first model, and the first notification message does not carry the first indication information;
• and sending, by the MTLF functional entity, the first notification message to the AnLF functional entity.

A communication apparatus, comprising:

• at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor is coupled to a non-transitory memory,
• the non-transitory memory storing a computer program, that when executed by the at least one processor, causes the apparatus to perform operations including:
• receiving a first notification message, in response to the first notification message is for providing udated model, the first notification message carries a model identifier, and the model identifier indicates a first model, the first model is a model obtained by updating a second model, wherein the model identifier of the first model is the same as that of the second model, and the first model is a model retrained based on the second model, or the first model is a regenerated model;
• and
• in response to the first notification message further carries first indication information, performing an operation for obtaining the first model, wherein the first indication information indicates that a model corresponding to the model identifier is updated, wherein the first notification message further carries accuracy information of the first model, wherein the accuracy information of the first model indicates the accuracy of the first model;
• in response to the first notification message is used to provide accuracy information of the model, the first notification message carries the model identifier of the second model and accuracy information of the second model, the accuracy information of the second model indicates accuracy of the second model.
