A program analysis method comprising, by a first information processing device:

• identifying a transmission function for information included in a first program and a reception function for information included in a second program by performing at least one of static analysis on the first program and the second program and dynamic analysis on an operation of a second information processing device that executes both of the first program and the second program;
• and
• estimating that the information propagates between the transmission function and the reception function, for which a specification indicated by an identification result regarding the transmission function and the reception function satisfies a predetermined condition.

A non-transitory recording medium storing a program analysis program for causing a computer to execute:

• an identifying process of identifying a transmission function for information included in a first program and a reception function for information included in a second program by performing at least one of static analysis on the first program and the second program and dynamic analysis on an operation of an information processing device that executes both of the first program and the second program;
• and
• an estimation process of estimating that the information propagates between the transmission function and the reception function, for which a specification indicated by an identification result regarding the transmission function and the reception function satisfies a predetermined condition.
