Abstract
A method performed by a computing device according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes receiving a request to open a file stored in a local storage through a web application, in response to receiving the request to open the file, by an agent executed in the computing device, uploading the file to a remote storage, executing opening the file through the web application for the uploaded file, downloading a file processed through the web application from the remote storage, and updating the file stored in the local storage with the downloaded file.
Claims15
A method performed by a computing device, comprising:
- receiving a request to open a file stored in a local storage of the computing device through a web application;
- in response to receiving the request to open the file, by an agent executed in the computing device, uploading the file to a remote storage;
- executing file opening through the web application for the uploaded file;
- downloading a file processed through the web application from the remote storage;
- and
- updating the file stored in the local storage with the downloaded file.
A computing device, comprising:
- at least one processor;
- and
- a memory storing executable instructions for the at least one processor,
- wherein when the instructions are executed by the at least one processor, the at least one processor is configured to:
- receive a request to open a file stored in a local storage of the computing device through a web application—wherein opening the file through the web application is a function provided through an agent executed by the at least one processor,
- upload the file to a remote storage in response to receiving the request to open the file,
- execute opening the file through the web application for the uploaded file,
- download a file processed through the web application from the remote storage, and
- update the file stored in the local storage with the downloaded file.
