Abstract
According to various embodiments, a method for monitoring an electronic device includes: determining, based at least on thermal telemetry data associated with the electronic device, a thermal resistance between a cooling medium and a heat-generating component of the electronic device; and based at least on the thermal resistance, determining an operational status of the electronic device.

A method for monitoring an electronic device, the method comprising:
- determining, based at least on thermal telemetry data associated with the electronic device, a thermal resistance between a cooling medium and a heat-generating component of the electronic device;
- and
- based at least on the thermal resistance, determining an operational status of the electronic device.
An electronic device, comprising:
- a heat-generating component that is cooled by a cooling medium;
- and
- a controller that:
- receives thermal telemetry data associated with the electronic device;
- based on the thermal telemetry data, determines a thermal resistance between the cooling medium and the heat-generating component of the electronic device;
- and
- based on the thermal resistance, determines an operational status of the electronic device.
