Abstract
Apparatuses, systems, and techniques to execute CUDA programs. In at least one embodiment, an application programming interface is performed to indicate one or more limitations of one or more attributes of one or more groups of blocks of one or more threads.
Claims20
One or more processors comprising:
- circuitry to, in response to an application programming interface (API) call:
- identify a thread included in two or more groups of blocks of threads to be performed by one or more compute units;
- and
- return, as output of the API, one or more attributes of the two or more groups of blocks of threads.
1 more element
A computer-implemented method, comprising:
- receiving an application programming interface (API) call comprising one or more parameters indicating one or more attributes;
- identifying a thread included in two or more groups of blocks of threads;
- performing the two or more groups of blocks of threads on one or more compute units;
- and
- returning, as output of the API call, one or more attributes of the two or more groups of blocks of threads.
2 more elements
A computer system comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing executable instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the computer system to:
- in response to an application programming interface (API) call:
- identify a thread included in two or more groups of blocks of threads to be performed by one or more compute units;
- and
- return, as output of the API, one or more attributes of the two or more groups of blocks of threads.
