A control method for an image forming apparatus capable of printing, the control method comprising:

• obtaining data to be printed;
• determining whether to print the data under a first print condition or a second print condition that is capable of printing printed matter used more publicly than printed matter printed under the first print condition;
• generating first operating information about an operation status of the image forming apparatus under the first print condition in a case where it is determined to print under the first print condition;
• and
• generating second operating information about an operation status of the image forming apparatus under the second print condition in a case where it is determined to print under the second print condition.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a control program causing a computer to execute a control method for an image forming apparatus capable of printing, the control method comprising:

• obtaining data to be printed;
• determining whether to print the data under a first print condition or a second print condition that is capable of printing printed matter used more publicly than printed matter printed under the first print condition;
• generating first operating information about an operation status of the image forming apparatus under the first print condition in a case where it is determined to print under the first print condition;
• and
• generating second operating information about an operation status of the image forming apparatus under the second print condition in a case where it is determined to print under the second print condition.
