Sheet accommodating device, sheet feeding device, and image forming apparatus

A sheet feeding device comprising:

• a sheet accommodating device;
• and
• a feeding unit configured to feed a sheet accommodated in the sheet accommodating device and to be drawable from the sheet accommodating device,
• wherein:
• the sheet accommodating device includes:
• a sheet support portion configured to support a sheet;
• a rear-end regulating portion configured to move in a feeding direction of the sheet and regulate a position of a first end portion on an upstream side in the feeding direction, supported by the sheet support portion;
• and
• a detachable regulating member configured to regulate a position of a second end portion on the upstream side, the second end portion being different from the first end portion in a width direction of the sheet perpendicular to the feeding direction, and from a position of an upper surface of the second end portion,
• the regulating member is movable between a regulation position and a spacing position,
• in the regulating member, the regulating member abuts the second end portion and regulates a position of an end portion of the sheet, and
• in the spacing position, the regulating member is spaced away from the second end portion.

An image forming apparatus comprising:

• at least one image forming module including an image forming portion configured to form an image on a sheet, wherein:
• the at least one image forming module is configured to couple with a plurality of image forming modules
• the at least one image forming module is configured as a sheet feeding device that includes a sheet accommodating device attached to be drawable and a feeding unit is configured to feed a sheet accommodated in the sheet accommodating device,
• the sheet accommodating device is coupled to the at least one image forming module,
• the sheet accommodating device includes:
• a sheet support portion configured to support a sheet;
• a rear-end regulating portion configured to move in a feeding direction of the sheet and regulate a position of a first end portion on an upstream side in the feeding direction supported by the sheet support portion;
• and
• a detachable regulating member configured to regulate a position of a second end portion on the upstream side and a position of an upper surface of the second end portion, the second end portion being different from the first end portion in a width direction of the sheet perpendicular to the feeding direction,
• the regulating member is movable between a regulation position and a spacing position,
• in the regulation position, the regulating member abuts the second end portion and regulates a position of an end portion of the sheet and
• in the spacing position, the regulating member is spaced away from the second end portion.

An image forming apparatus comprising:

• a sheet accommodating device attached to be drawable;
• a feeding unit configured to feed a sheet accommodated in the sheet accommodating device;
• and
• an image forming portion configured to form an image on a sheet,
• wherein:
• the sheet accommodating device includes:
• a sheet support portion configured to support a sheet;
• a rear-end regulating portion configured to move in a feeding direction of the sheet and regulate a position of a first end portion on an upstream side in the feeding direction supported by the sheet support portion;
• and
• a detachable regulating member configured to regulate a position of a second end portion on the upstream side in the feeding direction supported by the sheet support portion and a position of an upper surface of the second end portion, the second end portion being different from the first end portion in a width direction of the sheet perpendicular to the feeding direction, and
• the regulating member is movable between a regulation position and a spacing position,
• in the regulation position, the regulating member abuts the second end portion and regulates a position of an end portion of the sheet and
• in the spacing position, the regulating member is spaced away from the second end portion.
