Camera module control method, camera module, and terminal device

A camera module, comprising:

• a drive apparatus, comprising a transmission member capable of performing forward and backward reciprocating motion in an axial direction;
• a plurality of lens group components, comprising two lens group components configured to implement a focusing function, wherein the two lens group components are movably disposed on the transmission member;
• and
• a control apparatus, configured to implement a camera module control method, the camera module control method comprises:
• obtaining focusing requirement information and current location information of the two lens group components;
• determining corresponding drive modes respectively for the two lens group components from a plurality of drive modes based on the focusing requirement information and the current location information, wherein the plurality of drive modes are divided based on critical times at which motion statuses of the two lens group components change relative to the transmission member;
• determining a drive signal based on the drive modes corresponding to the two lens group components;
• and
• controlling, based on the drive signal, the drive apparatus to drive the two lens group components to move, to implement a continuous focusing function of the camera module.

A terminal device, comprising a device body and a camera module, wherein the camera module is installed on the device body, and the camera module comprising:

• a drive apparatus, comprising a transmission member capable of performing forward and backward reciprocating motion in an axial direction;
• a plurality of lens group components, comprising two lens group components configured to implement a focusing function, wherein the two lens group components are movably disposed on the transmission member;
• and
• a control apparatus, configured to implement a camera module control method, the camera module control method comprises:
• obtaining focusing requirement information and current location information of the two lens group components;
• determining corresponding drive modes respectively for the two lens group components from a plurality of drive modes based on the focusing requirement information and the current location information, wherein the plurality of drive modes are divided based on critical times at which motion statuses of the two lens group components change relative to the transmission member;
• determining a drive signal based on the drive modes corresponding to the two lens group components;
• and
• controlling, based on the drive signal, the drive apparatus to drive the two lens group components to move, to implement a continuous focusing function of the camera module.
