Abstract

An imaging optical system includes: a front group, a diaphragm, and a rear group in order from an object side to an image side. The front group includes: a first group having negative power, and a second group having positive power in order from the object side to the image side. The second group includes: a third lens, and a fourth lens that is adjacent to the third lens on the image side and is disposed closest to the image side. the front group comprises:
